What's included in a groom with us?

• Hydromassage bath with professional quality shampoos, conditioners and scents appropriate for the coat.
• Nails ground, ears and eyes cleaned, and teeth inspected during the bath.
• Every inch of the dog is visually inspected during drying (one of the advantages of a good groomer operating a good dryer) and changes in skin and coat condition are noted and reported to you.
• Breed-appropriate groom  unless something else is specifically requested by the client. 
• Bows or bandanna, polish or glitter, scent or not -- depending on client preference.

Special Services:

• Flea and Tick removal - We will drown any fleas and/or ticks which are present during grooming, put them in an alcohol filled jar, and give them a decent burial.  We don't use poisons, because of the nasty effect these would have on the groomer!! But you'll get a report of what was spotted, and a treatment recommendation to take to your vet.  Very rarely do I have a client with such critters, but it sometimes happens to the best of us.  Complete cleaning of the van after an infested pet is NOT my favorite thing to do, and it is necessary -- so please keep your pet on Advantage or similar meds both for his/her health and my mental state.

• Show Stoppers - You can have Housecall Grooming LLC groom your pet for a special event, by prior appointment, for such occasions as a wedding, housewarming, or holiday party. 
  

Benefits of using a mobile groomer instead of a shop environment:

• You and your pet don't have to leave the comfort of your home - we come to you!
• Your pet will not be crated while waiting to be groomed. Your pet receives the one-on-one attention it deserves!
• It's my gasoline, not yours.
• The hair removed is in MY van, not YOUR house.
• Most pets are in and out of the van in little over an hour, they don't have to spend hours away.
• Exposure to pests such as fleas and ticks is cut to almost nothing.  There's only one client-dog in the van at a time, so there can be no cross-contamination.  The table and tools are sterilized between grooms, and the van itself is 'bombed' that night  if any fleas have been seen that day. 
• You can go to work all day, come home in the evening, and miraculously have your dog groomed by the magic grooming fairy when you weren't even home, if I have access to a key or security code.   
• If you schedule your groom on the same day as the housekeeper (which may or may not be yourself like it is at MY house)  you could have housekeeping BLISS!!!
